St Peter's Church, Old Woking
Church Street, Old Woking, Surrey, GU22 9JE
St Peter's has been here for over nine hundred years and is still going strong! King Charles I worshipped at the church in 1627, when he listened to a sermon on the need to be born again through the living word of God. Our church family reflects the parish we serve and comprises people from a diversity of backgrounds and ages, and we warmly welcome you to join us at any of our services.
We have services every Sunday at 10am which usually includes a Sunday School and also at 6.30pm (5pm in the winter) which follows the Book of Common Prayer.
The Church is open Monday -Friday from 9am-12 noon, Saturdays 10am-5pm and Sundays between 10am and 6pm for visitors to enjoy our beautiful church, explore its history and to pray.
St Peter's is a beautiful church in which to have your
wedding or to have your child
christened. It also has the Jubilee Garden of Remembrance where you can have the ashes of a loved one buried in a beautiful location with their name on a plaque.
It is also available to
hire for concerts or other events.
