Funerals
We’ll always be here to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. A Church of England funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service, for as long as it’s needed.
For many people, funerals can be a source of hope and comfort as well as thanksgiving for the loved one. Christians have always believed that there is hope in death as in life, and that there is new life in Christ over death.
For more information on planning funerals and general advice, please see the Church of England website.
St Peter's has a lovely Jubilee Garden of Remembrance where you can bury the ashes of your loved one and have a plaque in their memory.
Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to find out more or arrange a funeral or burial of ashes with us, or fill out the enquiry form.
We also run a bereavement drop-in cafe to help you after the loss of a loved one.
