Christmas in the Parish

We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas again with the communities of Old Woking, Kingfield, Westfield and Sutton Green.

Below are are services to which all are welcome. No booking is required, but any questions please email the parish office or call 01483 755852.
 

Friday 5th December

7.30pm Guide Dog Association Carol Service at St Peter's. Start the Christmas season with this inspiring carol service with carols and readings, songs from Show Choir and St Peter's church handbell ringers. Afterwards join for refreshments, a raffle and other ways to have fun and support Guide Dogs.

Sunday 14th December

10.00am Nativity service at St Peter's. Our nativity service is always a fun retelling of the Christmas story by our church children and adults. All children are welcome to come dressed as a nativity character and participate. 

Thursday 18th December

6.30pm Woking FC Carol service. We are delighted to host Woking Football Club for their carol service and all are welcome to join the players, staff and fans to celebrate Jesus' birth together. The service will be a mix of carols, a quiz, readings, Christmas words, interviews and video. From 5.45pm there will be football related activities and a chance to meet the players in the church hall.

Sunday 21st December

6.00pm Carols by Candlelight at St Peter's. A traditional lessons and carols service by candlelight followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

Monday 22nd December

6.00pm Outdoor carols by firelight at St Mark’s with Almac Bisley Brass Band, followed by mince pies and mulled wine. Please wrap up warm and bring a torch. (If wet or very cold it will be indoors)

Christmas Eve

4.00pm Christingle at St Peter’s  - a beautiful, fun-filled service of light for all the family where everyone gets to take home a Christingle
6.00pm Carols by Candlelight at All Souls’ - followed by mince pies and mulled wine
11.15pm Midnight Communion at St Peter’s

Christmas Day

9.30am All-age communion at All Souls’
10.00am All-age communion at St Peter’s - this service will be livestreamed
11.00am All-age communion at St Mark’s

Sunday 28th December

11.00am United all-age service at St Mark's
(there will be no service at St Peter's or All Souls')
